The hard work of laboratory professionals often goes unnoticed, and the Control Freaks love a good excuse to cast a spotlight on their hard work, diligence, and innovation.
We’re having a week-long shindig in our own office, to make sure our Control Freaks know how much we appreciate all that they do… But we want to let you in on the party, too.
Last year, we kicked off #LabWeek with a really fun photo contest, where we awarded the winning lab a catered lunch. We loved everyone’s creativity and Control Freak Spirit — so much so, that we’re doing another photo contest this year.
Our 2018 prize was a lunch for your whole lab, but we know how difficult it is to find a quiet moment for everyone on the team. This year, we’re making the contest open to individuals, too!

- Put on some UTAK Swag.
- Post a photo of you demonstrating your Control Freak Spirit on Twitter or Instagram, using our special contest hashtag: #welovecontrol.
If your lab doesn’t do social media, you can also email your submission to welovecontrol@utak.com and we’ll post it for you!
Our Control Freaks will be rating winners based on creativity and Control Freak Spirit. You’ll get bonus points if you feature some of our QC in your photo, too. Post your submissions by the end of the day next Friday, April 26th.
Our grand prize, awarded for best group photo, will be a catered lunch for your lab. If you’re on your own, you’ll be entered to win a sweet Control Freak gift bag.
We’ll be notifying lucky winners the week of April 29th!
